Fatima Fadulalmawla

Fatima is a bilingual paralegal in the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice. She brings strong experience across civil and common law systems, and plays a key role in supporting the firm’s litigation and advisory teams through in-depth legal research on UAE legislation, court practice, and comparative legal principles applicable to both onshore and offshore matters.

 

Fatima is adept at analysing and distilling complex legal issues into clear, practical research insights. Her work strengthens the development of legal arguments and supports the team across a broad range of matters, including insurance, corporate and commercial issues, employment matters, and the enforcement of foreign judgments.

 

Prior to joining Afridi & Angell, Fatima worked as a lawyer at a leading Sudanese law firm, where she gained extensive experience in dispute resolution before national courts and arbitral tribunals. Her practice focused on representing clients in complex commercial disputes and arbitration proceedings.

 

Fatima also worked as a research assistant, contributing to both an LL.M. module at the University of Khartoum and a commentary on the principles of International Commercial Arbitration and its application in Sudan prior to its accession to the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards.

Yousif Musa

Yousif has a strong background in litigation, legal drafting and company formation. He supports the dispute resolution team through legal research, drafting, managing and submitting legal documentation, and coordinating with clients and legal authorities. Yousif also manages litigation procedures, from case registration through judgment and execution, leveraging electronic judicial platforms across UAE courts.

 

Prior to joining Afridi & Angell in 2025, Yousif worked as a legal researcher at a law firm in Dubai. He has also previously worked as a lawyer at a firm in Khartoum, with rights of audience before all Sudanese courts.

Aloka Honemeyer

Aloka joined Afridi & Angell in 2024 after spending three months as an intern at the firm. She is well versed in legal research, including interpreting and analysing legal resources, including statutes, academic literature, and case law. She assists lawyers in drafting essential legal documents such as case briefs, contracts, agreements, legal correspondence, and memoranda.

 

Prior to joining Afridi & Angell, Aloka spent a couple of years working in hospitality, including in one of the world’s leading Airline companies.

Anita Hajynia

Anita supports lawyers on a wide range of corporate, commercial, real estate, and dispute resolution matters. She assists in conducting legal research, drafting memoranda, and reviewing various documents and contracts. She actively participates in client meetings, gathers pertinent information, provides ongoing updates and ensures the smooth progression of cases and transactions.

 

Anita interned at Afridi & Angell prior to joining the firm as a paralegal in 2024. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Middlesex (Dubai) in 2023.

Dimple Soni

Dimple assists lawyers on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution matters. She supports the corporate team with the formation of new companies in the UAE, maintenance of existing companies, liaising with government departments, police departments, drafting memoranda, and conducting research. She also assists the dispute resolution team in legal research, document classification, and document management.

 

Prior to joining Afridi & Angell, Dimple worked for eminent legal and knowledge services companies in India where her work involved extensive research and analysis of patents with varying scopes, such as patentability, infringement, and licensing for various multinationals. She has worked in various cross-functional technology domains such as pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, electronics and mechanical patents.

Milouda Mastacou

Milouda assists lawyers and clients with all aspects of corporate and commercial law, employment matters, trademark registrations and IP-related issues. She assists on client matters involving extensive dealings with government entities including immigration and residency departments, Ministry of Labour, Department of Economic Development, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Justice, The Ruler’s Office in Dubai and Sharjah, Pensions Department in Dubai and in the GCC, DIFC Government Services Department, Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Dubai and other emirates, Emirates ID Department, as well as free zone offices across the UAE. She also liaises with traffic and RTA authorities and attends notary offices in Dubai and other emirates.

 

Prior to joining Afridi & Angell in 2008, Milouda was the marketing assistant with a share and commodity exchange in Dubai

Ragai Abdelatif Ali Ibrahim

Ragai assists clients with all aspects of corporate transactions and particularly in respect of filing various applications and documents, and obtaining approvals from the respective governmental departments and agencies.

 

Prior to joining Afridi & Angell in 2012, Ragai was an administrative and legal manager at Fabilo Trading LLC, Dubai. Prior to that, he was an associate at a law firm in Khartoum and had rights of audience before all the Sudanese courts.
