Adite advises a cross-section of predominantly Middle Eastern and South Asian institutional and individual clients on a broad range of cross-border and domestic transactions, with a particular emphasis on the energy and infrastructure sector. In the energy and infrastructure sector, she regularly represents sponsors on all aspects of the development, investment and financing of (primarily) renewable energy projects and utilities in the UAE and Pakistan. She has worked on a number of project finance, project development, and sector-focused acquisitions and joint ventures in the Middle East and South Asia.


Adite has over 10 years of work experience spread across Afridi & Angell and before that in Trilegal and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (both tier 1 Indian law firms known for their project’s practice).


She is listed in Legal500 for energy and infrastructure-related work in the UAE and has co-authored the Energy Regulation and Markets Review – Law Reviews (UAE chapter, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th edition), the Banking Regulation Review – Law Reviews (UAE Chapter, 10th and 11th edition) and the Chambers Global Practice Guides (Banking and Finance UAE chapter, in 2018 and 2019).
