Charles Laubach, partner, participated as a panelist during a webinar entitled “US Anti-Boycott Law in UAE – Why It Still Matters”, organised by the AmCham Abu Dhabi’s Legal Affairs Committee. Following the signing of the Abraham Accords, the UAE ended its participation in the decades-long boycott of the State of Israel. The panel discussed what this means for US businesses, both today and in the future when/if US regulators make changes in response to the accords. Other panelists included James C. Stearns (Accenture) and David Wolff (Crowell & Moring LLP). John McGowan (JPM Legal Advisors Worldwide Ltd) moderated the panel.
